We originally spoke to the family who owned this property in 2014, and remained in touch with them over the years until they contacted us again when they were in a position to sell. As time was of the essence the family decided that the buyer would need to buy the site without the benefit of planning and so our search for an unconditional buyer began.  We were able to introduce several suitable buyers and were delighted for the family that completion took place swiftly before Christmas  2022.

The developer who bought the site is soon due to submit a planning application for an attractive townhouse scheme.

This property had been in the same family for many years when the decision was made to apply for planning and redevelop the site. They had originally planned to build out the scheme themselves, however when they changed their mind they contacted Aston Mead to find them a buyer but on the basis that it was built out as per the plans with no significant changes.

We secured this land on behalf of a retained PLC Housebuilder who was looking for land suitable for housing to promote in the local area.

The land is a short walk of the local school, amenities and the soon to be opened Elizabethan Line making it extremely sustainable and therefore ideal for future development. The size of the proposed scheme will enable further amenities for the village including an additional school and doctors surgery.

We await the proposed creation of the Buckinghamshire unitary authority which sadly has resulted in strategic planning being put on the back burner until resolved! Once in place the land will be robustly promoted through the local plan.

We were contacted by the owner of a 0.25 acre plot of land in Egham that had been in his family for many years and was now looking at selling. After carrying out some due diligence we discovered the land was not only classified as greenbelt but also in flood zone 3, which made it highly unlikely that it could be developed for housing. However we explained there would still be someone interested in purchasing this and suggested selling by way of auction and put them in contact with our auction department.

The plot was entered into the March 2022 auction and sold above the guide price.
