When the owners of Wetwood Farm,  a disused poultry farm decided to redevelop the site and submitted a planning application for twelve houses they approached Aston Mead to find them a buyer.

A select few developers were approached and several offers received which resulted in terms being agreed with Antler Homes.  There were a few challenges to deal with before planning was granted, however contracts were exchanged in November 2024 with work due to start on site in the Spring of 2025.

We were contacted by the son of the owner of this detached house at the end of this quiet, private road in Winchester and asked to help find them a buyer.

Having communicated with many developers a sale of the land, by way of an option agreement, was agreed to Orchard Homes. Planning was not straightforward, as is often the case, but with expertise and perseverance we got there in the end and we are sure this will prove to be an excellent site with the new homes due for completion towards the end of 2025 selling very well.

Aston Mead approached the two homeowners as we felt if they would both sell a section of their rear gardens there was the potential of developing a small housing scheme. Discussions followed whereby we introduced Black Onyx who agreed terms and submitted an application for two detached houses which was subsequently granted planning permission. When Black Onyx decided that they wanted to sell the sit instead of building it out themselves they asked us to find them a buyer terms were agreed, and contracts exchanged with a local developer.

Work is due to start this Summer.

With clear development potential for a number of houses, we approached a select group of developers, and after some months and several meetings the owner decided to sell the site to Shorewood Homes.

Planning was granted in July 2023 for 9 luxury houses that will have enviable views over the golf course.
