The owners of Grange Farm, Chertsey contacted us at a time when the 4 acres of greenbelt land they owned was about to be allocated for housing under Runnymede Borough Council’s local plan. They were looking to sell and asked Aston Mead to source a developer who would secure planning and thereby maximise the value of their site.

We successfully introduced Bellway Homes who presented the family with a proposal, which after several meetings was accepted. Subsequently, an application for 69 houses and apartments was submitted with planning being granted earlier this year.

Completion took place in October.

Following two abortive sales the owner of this site who had been granted planning permission for 5 detached houses in Woking contacted Aston Mead to find a suitable buyer.

We introduced Cimbrone Developments who put forward an acceptable offer, and despite some complications with the site, which they managed to overcome, were able to exchange and complete in time to ensure the vendor didn’t lose his onward purchase.

When a developer contact of ours was granted planning permission for 3 detached houses, ranging in size from c3,500sqft-3,700sqft in Warfield, Berks and decided to sell instead of building out they asked us to find them a buyer.

We approached a small selection of suitable developer clients, terms were agreed with Sataman Developments with completion taking place recently.

Construction is due to get underway in the Summer 2023.

A client of ours was granted planning permission in Binfield to replace the existing house, set in approximately 1.8 acres with a scheme of twenty-one houses and apartments, and had agreed to sell the site to another party.

However, when the sale fell through, they contacted Aston Mead and asked us to find them another buyer quickly. We spoke to a select list of suitable developers, subsequent offers were received, and terms agreed with Montreaux Developments Limited, contracts exchanged, and construction is due to start Summer 2022.

Our newest site is in a great location hidden away on a quiet road in Winchester, Hampshire.

The owners had sentimental ties to the land because it was an inherited property, although knowing full well that the value was in the land itself.

Aston Mead Land collaborated with a small, local builder, Shorewood Homes, and together we came up with a plan for just six high-end residences that was well received by the family.

Despite setbacks, brought by covid and having to mitigate phosphate and nitrate neutrality, planning has finally been secured and construction is about to begin.

We approached the owner of this small used car dealership in the popular Surrey Village of Chobham on behalf of a retained client who had previously purchased similar sites off us.  The owner was nearing retirement so the approach was timely. An unconditional sale was agreed with a quick exchange of contracts and a delayed completion.

A scheme for 4 luxury family homes is currently going through the planning system and will be sold by us once planning is granted.
