After various meetings Richard introduced a developer and terms were agreed with the two landowners to each sell a section of their rear garden. Following further negotiations with the owners of an existing adjacent development, which was required to provide the access, a planning application was submitted and subsequently granted for 3 detached houses.

We approached the owners of this property, a detached house set in just over 0.5 of an acre as we felt it had development potential. They were considering selling, however wanted to move quickly and couldn’t wait for planning to be granted beforehand. So we introduced a buyer who was prepared to buy the property unconditionally, terms were agreed and exchange and completion took place shortly afterwards. Following this an application was submitted and planning was subsequently granted to replace the existing house with 4 townhouses.

A leading Surrey developer needed to acquire a number of sites with planning permission to add to their growing build programme across the South East.

Mike Wightman of Aston Mead identified a number of potential sites which matched their immediate target requirements. Having contacted the owners of one particular site in Morden, Surrey and established they were prepared to sell, negotiations ensued.

Following a round of conference calls, site meetings and due diligence being conducted, terms were agreed and lawyers instructed. Contracts were speedily exchanged with completion taking place quickly thereafter.

The site is now in the midst of construction and four brand new homes are soon to be marketed and sold.
