We were contacted by the owner of a 0.25 acre plot of land in Egham that had been in his family for many years and was now looking at selling. After carrying out some due diligence we discovered the land was not only classified as greenbelt but also in flood zone 3, which made it highly unlikely that it could be developed for housing. However we explained there would still be someone interested in purchasing this and suggested selling by way of auction and put them in contact with our auction department.

The plot was entered into the March 2022 auction and sold above the guide price.
