Land Wanted - Sites around UK | Aston Mead | UK Land

LAND WANTED

We work with landowners across the South East and South West to identify land with development potential — often where others see none.

This isn’t just about large, vacant sites or land with planning permission. Underused land, surplus gardens, redundant commercial buildings, can all present valuable opportunities.

If you own land or property and are unsure what it could be worth, we can assess its potential and explain your options clearly and confidentially.

If you think your land might have potential, it’s worth a conversation.

LAND WANTED

Our mission is to uncover those sites around the UK which have development potential. But if you think that means we’re only interested in vast, empty building plots which already have planning permission – think again!

The following categories of land are of interest to us too:

Half an acre or more of back garden

When it comes to development, these are sites right on their own doorstep which owners often forget to consider. They could be at the end of a long garden, or perhaps to one side of an existing plot, or indeed any other spare ground in a residential area.

Several neighbours with adjoining plots

There’s usually strength in numbers – so if you’ve not yet met with your neighbours to talk through the possibilities development on site combining several plots, then we’re happy to bring you all together, to see how you could benefit from working as a team.

Commercial Premises

These are likely to be places where an existing business is past its heyday, or would willingly consider moving elsewhere – such as pubs, factories, office blocks, garages, retail units, catteries or kennels. Come and talk to us, and we can show you what the potential for development might be.

Redundant agricultural buildings

Together we can breath some life into these old properties. which have been left forgotten and unloved. They often have a rural appeal which can be retained with sensitive development. So whether it’s a barn, cowshed, piggery or hayloft – or even an entire farmyard – we’d like to hear from you.

Grey Belt

In UK planning and development, “grey belt” is an informal term (not officially defined in planning law) used to describe previously developed or underused land in urban areas that isn’t protected like green belt or designated as brownfield.
